Marquês dos Vales wines in “Algarve Vivo” magazine

Hermínio Rebelo, Chief Sommelier of Confraria dos Enófilos e
Gastronómica do Algarve,
tasted some of Quinta dos Vales' wines and published his comments in the
February/March edition of "Algarve Vivo", more wines will follow in the
upcoming editions.

Revista de Vinhos: The Best of Portugal

"Revista de Vinhos", renowned Portuguese periodical, distinguishes "The
Best of Portugal" annually, selecting one of our references to be
featured amongst the best national wines of this edition. "Marquês dos
Vales Grace Viognier 2010" was chosen as the best of the Algarve by this
publication's tasting panel, another certification of its excellent quality!

'Scandinavian ViniCup' Tournament – 18.02.2012 at Benamor Golf

Best Label Contest Winner

Viniportugal's Sala Ogival in Lisboa is a great place to taste and learn
more about Portuguese wine.
Every month thousands of visitors are offered a choice of wines from 3
different Portuguese wine regions for tasting, with the resulting
comments and visitor information being gathered and used for critical
studies pertaining to wine marketing.
One of the requests people are faced with when visiting Sala Ogival is
to elect the best label amongst the wines being tasted and for January
2012 we have had one of our wines selected: "Marquês dos Vales Segunda
Edição 2007 Tinto", now sold out. A bottle of this wine will now be
featured on an exclusive showcase for the next month. Another proud
moment for our award-winning wines!

Passion in Faro

In a warm and pleasant environment Dr. Macário Correia, Mayor of Faro, alongside Dra. Alexandra Gonçalves, the Councillor for Culture, and the leaders of the Faro Museum, inaugurated on February 4th at 5:00pm the 'Passion' exhibition which will run until April 8th 2012 in the magnificent courtyard of the Museum. The concept of this project was widely praised and Quinta dos Vales was also referred to as a unique initiative in the Algarve. 

'Passion' Exhibition in Museu de Faro, from 04/02 to 31/03/2012

In the 'Passion' project, by artist Karl Heinz Stock, 18 national and
international artists used the elephant sculptures to share their
different interpretations. Each piece is a unique and individual work,
but together they show a very special dynamic with a message of force
and happiness. A 15 piece exhibition will be open to the public from the
February 4th to March 31st 2012 at the iconic Museu de Faro.

Exhibition in Benamor Golf in Tavira

The "Passion" exhibition in Forum Coimbra has now ended and a new one
starts today in Benamor Golf, in Tavira where Quinta dos Vales will
exhibit 13 magnificent sculptures from its collection, with pieces from
its projects "Dance of the Bears" and "Reunion of Bulls" as well as
individual pieces which can be seen during the upcoming tournaments.
