Former Vice president of the Deutscher Bundestag visiting Quinta dos Vales

Composer and pianist Lutz Kettnaker and singer Vera Keel offered the musical ambience while the politician and writer Dr. Antje Vollmer when she gave insights about her newest book project 'Doppelleben. Heinrich und Gottliebe von Lehndorff im Widerstand gegen Hitler und von Ribbentrop', a double biographie about two important opposers of Adolf Hitler. Antje Vollmer's insights into the reality of these difficult times were very open minded and it was worthwhile to listen to hear the encouraging life of the Lehndorffs. All in all a very perfect pre-summer evening, intellectually demanding, and good wine and music. Thank you to Barbara Fellgiebel.

Fado Maior in Quinta dos Vales a big success!

Additional entrance tickets had to be issued on Friday, May 20th, when instead of 150 expected visitors nearly 250 guests came to enjoy the Fado performance in a warm pre-summer night.
Karl Heinz Stock, owner and manager of Quinta dos Vales said: 'It was a wonderful evening. My special thanks to the responsible ones in ALLGARVE and the Camara of Lagoa who impressed me not only with a perfect organization but also with a spectacular light scenery which transformed our sculpture garden and the vineyards into a scenery of 1001 nights. It has been another important step on our way to develop Quinta dos Vales as meeting point for wine and culture.'

Concerto by Rão Kyao

Quartel da Atalaia will host on June 24th a concert with Rão Kyao starting at 9:30 pm. The show will start with a performance of DJ João Paulo who will stay on after the concert. Entrance is free. Quinta dos Vales will be present introducing their wines.

Charity dinner for Refúgio Aboim Ascensão

On May 19th at Jardim de S. Francisco, next to Quartel da Atalaia in Tavira, a charity dinner for Refúgio Aboim Ascensão will take place at around 7:30pm. Quinta dos Vales is sponsoring the event with 100 bottles of it's wines.

Fado Maior - May 20th 10pm

Fado Maior (an Allgarve event) will visit Quinta dos Vales on May 20th at 10pm. Tickets are on sale in Convento de S. José and Auditório Municipal of Lagoa, and cost 8€.

Concert by Coral Ideais dos Levante

On Saturday May 14th Quinta dos Vales welcomed another concert by Coral Ideias do Levante, as part of Semana Coral de Lagoa. The event was a success with over 80 people attending.

Open Door IV - A Great Success

This past edition of our flagship event proved to be a winning format, with the presence of more than 3000 visitors during the two-day program.

The Marquês dos Vales wines were once again in the spotlight, having been eagerly tasted.

Participation on the parallel events organized was great with many enrolled in guided tours, introduction to tasting and cooking lesson.
